Exposed aggregate is a super high strength concrete with pea-stone used throughout the mix.   The concrete is poured using regular technique, then we use a spray on film that retards the top layer from curing.  We then wash thouroughly the following day to expose a beautiful elegant patio.  The last step is to apply a heavy clear urethane for gloss and durability.
